Terms of Service

The terms you accept when you enrol in California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training with Kristen Stoddard.

By accessing and using the services provided by Alcohol School ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this service.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Provider Status

By enrolling, you acknowledge that Alcohol School is a private, California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) approved training provider. We are not a government agency and do not issue permits or licenses. Use of this service is for educational purposes only and does not constitute a license or permit application with the State of California.

2. User License & Intellectual Property

  • Permission is granted to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
  • Get Licensed, LLC Disclosure: Educational content, including practice questions and course materials, contains proprietary material licensed from Get Licensed, LLC.
  • Ownership: All course content (text, graphics, logos, and software) is the property of Alcohol School and/or Get Licensed, LLC and is protected by copyright laws.
  • Restrictions: You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, or "screen-scrape" course materials. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate these restrictions.

3. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Course Enrollment and Payment

  • Refunds: All sales are final and non-refundable once course access is granted. We reserve the right to modify course pricing at any time.

5. Disabilities & ADA Accessibility

In accordance with Federal Standards and California accessibility law, we aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. For reasonable accommodations (e.g., screen-reader support), email california@alcohol.school. Alternative formats will be provided within 48 business hours of a verified request.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this service for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm another person, or to transmit malicious code.

7. Disclaimer & Limitations

The materials on this service are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding your ability to pass required exams. In no event shall Alcohol School or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including loss of data, profit, or business delay) arising out of the use or inability to use these materials. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the course.

8. Governing Law & Arbitration

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California. You waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class-action lawsuit.
